The Thursday Thirteen: Take Two

So it's time that time once again.

Here goes:

1. I have an "old lady" middle name (I bet you can't guess it!  And no telling, Friends Who Know!)
2. All of my cats have middle names.  (They aren't completely serious, mind you.)
3. I only cut one class in all of high school.
4. It was gym, and I was actually getting math help.
5. I've had three different surgeries.
6. I am slightly OCD -- that is, I have the obsessive part (and it's diagnosed -- I'm not just being funny!)
7. I have only owned two cars in my lifetime.
8. I still have both of my security blankets from childhood.  They are in tatters in my closet, but I refuse to throw them away.
9. I went to the prom three out of four years in high school.  And I hated the prom.
10. I've always hated peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.
11. I am afraid to fly, but I feel the fear and do it anyway.
12. I am already thinking of names for my children, even though I'm not sure I want children...
13. I once pushed Quentin Tarantino out of my way on a NYC street (I didn't realize who he was).

Fellow Bloggers, if you feel so inclined, play along!

I never knew you hated PB&J! The things you learn... :-)

Did you know that I only cut one class in HS? Or that I still have my "blankies"? ;)

I agree that was informative. I guess this means it is time for me to do my next installment.

I still have my blankie! And I only cut once in h.s., too -- it was "senior skip" day, so I don't know if it counts because the entire class skipped. Hmmmm ... old lady name ... Bertha? Eunice? That's so funny about Q.T. -- did it cue some funky '70's song? :)

Eunice...that's a good one. Agatha? Millicent? Mildred?

J -- I will look in a minute (I've been out all day). Glad you played again!

B -- You guessed it! I can't believe it. It's Edith. *recoiling in horror*

M -- If you count senior skip day then I actually cut twice. ;)

Good job, Bearette. I was going to guess Matilda.

Wow, cutting gym class to get math help. You were such a good doobie.

I never liked p&b sandwiches until recently. I still don't have them that often, but I like them. I used to bring a bag lunch with me to school and it was the same thing every day and I loved it - bologna and cheese in a small round syrian pocket and a banana. Oh yeah...those were the days :)

Yes, congrats Bearette. I guess you have won a contest of sorts! Edith was my Great Aunt's name. I guess I should appreciate it some for that reason, but it makes me sounds like I'm 85...

Elsa -- I was one of those "good kids" in high school for the most part. ;) And I too took my lunch to school (until junior year when we were allowed to eat off campus), though the sandwich varied daily. Never PBJ.

I was going to guess Esther. I actually like Edith, though!

Found you because you found my blog, and may I just say...my dogs both have middle names and nicknames, I only cut classes for extra tutoring or favors to teachers, went to three proms (and hate the prom), HATE pb&j, detest flying but adore travel, and love coming up with names for future children (or objects, pets, etc.), too...although as you read on my blog, I'm not certain I'll have them, either.

Great read -- I'll be back!

A -- Thanks for stopping by! I'll be reading your site as well... It seems we have a thing or two in common! ;)
